3 Wheel Double Buggy

The Fox 5 is an all-terrain stroller that's perfect for parents who like to explore off-road. It comes with a suspension that is impressive and has large wheels that are puncture proof.

Our test participant Claire was impressed by the neat, easy-to-open packaging and found it one of the fastest and easiest pieces of baby equipment to put together. She tested it on rough terrain and was impressed with its performance.

Seats

The majority of triple buggies start life as single pushchairs, but some can be converted to take the seat of a second person or carrycot by converting adapters (these are usually more common in tandem buggies). Some models allow you to add an additional board for older children who are ready to walk but need some help.

Check out the Joie Evalite Duo for an ultra-lightweight option that is perfect for urban streets. It's a breeze to move and comes with a deep basket that has plenty of storage space. It can accommodate twins from at birth and will accept two car seats, or a carrycot with a seat. The seats are required to face forwards and there's no room for a shopping bag underneath which is why you'll need a sidepack to do this.

If you're looking to take off-road trips then the Mountain Buggy Duet is a excellent choice. It's a side-byside model with the smallest footprint of any double buggy on the market. Suspension

The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine how easily you and your child/children are able to push it. A smooth ride is essential since babies can feel every bump on the road, especially when it's on rough terrain such as grass or unpaved paths. Certain models also have locking front wheels to help in maneuvering and navigating obstacles like curbs.

Some models have air-filled tyres that are great for all-terrain riding, but they are susceptible to punctures. Be sure to keep a spare set of tyres in your trunk. Other models use gel or foam tyres, which are designed to withstand bumps and are less prone to punctures, however, you may feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable on your child's back when you choose to jog.

It's even very pleasant to jog, with the 16" rear wheels and lockable swivel front wheels that provide a steady running experience." Folding

A 3-wheel double buggy can fold up very well to be stored. There are models that fold flat and then stand up (as as if they're in a pushchair position) and also those that pop up to reveal more of an umbrella-style fold, with the option of a brake operated by hand. The more wheels the buggy is equipped with, in general the easier it will be to maneuver on rough terrain. This is especially true if the wheels are larger than the typical size. You will have more stability, and it's less likely that you will need to flip or tip your child.

The most popular model is the iCandy Wave, which can be used from birth with an infant car seat and transforms into a side-by-side double buggy once your child is old enough to allow them to sit beside each one.  3 wheel pushchair 's a comfortable and light-feeling model which makes it easy to push, and it comes full of extra features including raincover and a bumper bar.
